Today was once again a day packed full of sites. We traveled Saqqara and toured The Step Pyramid (named this because of its stairstep shape). We then traveled to Dashur where we had lunch in the shadow of the Bent Pyramid and then traveled to the Red Pyramid where we actually climbed 250 feet to the entrance...and then crawled 250 feet into the Pyramid. Such an awesome experience! (See pics posted...more coming soon).
Tonight we will have dinner at the hotel and then have a free evening to experience Cairo at night.
Tomorrow is another packed day! Stayed tuned...and thanks for following me!
